Nestled at 3,600 m in the Western Himalayas of Uttarakhand, the Valley of Flowers Trek, or Foolon ki Ghati, is one of India’s most scenic and beginner-friendly monsoon treks. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this 6-day adventure unveils vibrant alpine meadows, gushing waterfalls, and snow-draped peaks. As you step into the valley, you’re greeted by the sweet fragrance of over 600 species of wildflowers—from blue primulas and poppies to calendulas and lilies—turning the landscape into a living canvas. Steeped in myth, it is also believed to be where Hanuman found the Sanjeevani herb in the Ramayana. The trail leads you to Hemkund Sahib at 14,400 ft, where rare blooms thrive in a quiet alpine haven. The Valley of Flowers promises a trek that feels like walking through a dream.

Day 01 Starting

Day 02 Trek from Joshimath to Ghangaria

Today, lace up your hiking boots and set off for Ghangaria, a charming village situated around forests and mountains. The trek is refreshing, with fresh mountain air & the sounds of nature surrounding you. You are rewarded with panoramic views of towering peaks covered in mist with every ascent. After completing the short gradual ascent of 9 Km you will reach Ghangaria, a small village encircled by mountains. As you reach, settle-in at your camps, & set off to explore the beautiful surroundings.

Day 03 Trek from Ghangaria to Valley of Flowers

In the morning, get ready to go on a thrilling trek as this day will surely race up your heart with anticipation as you witness the famed Valley of Flowers. The trail is steep and stony, making your trek a bit difficult. Take your time, and soak in the beauty of this natural wonder before returning to Ghangaria.

Day4 Downhill Trek from Ghangaria to Joshimath

In the morning, you will be starting the easy descent to Joshimath on the same trail that you trekked on earlier. After traveling through the same trail and witnessing the attractions and beauty from a different perspective, you will reach Joshimath. Upon reaching, settle-in your camps for an overnight stay.

Day 5 Transfer to Rishikesh

Begin your day by, returning back to Rishikesh. As you reach Rishikesh, your Valley of Flowers Trekking package ends here, take back a bundle of unbelievable memories with you.
